Mid-Autumn is a poets' and writers' festival, when scholars in China, Vietnam, Korea and ancient Japan gathered to admire the gradually waxing moon and compose poetry in her honour.  Lots of wine to go with the gatherings as well. And unfortunately, very few literary women and lots of sing-song girls.

I want to claim kinship with those ancient poets and writers, but as a 21st century woman who's been taught to read and allowed to voice.

Pour yourself a glass of wine, download the collection, and join my Mid-Autumn celebrations.
